DepoGenius 2.0: Faster, Simpler, More Powerful

When we first launched DepoGenius, we had a vision: make it incredibly easy for plaintiff's attorneys to unlock the genius in their depositions. Today, I'm excited to announce DepoGenius 2.0, a complete renovation of our platform that delivers on that vision in ways we never imagined possible.

Why the Change?

We love talking with our users. Through countless conversations, we discovered something fascinating: while attorneys loved DepoGenius's ability to analyze depositions, they weren't using it quite how we expected. They weren't looking to analyze individual depositions or maintain case notes within the platform. Instead, they wanted to leverage all of their case data to generate comprehensive insights.

So we did what any user-obsessed team would do – we rebuilt DepoGenius around what our users actually needed.

What's New in DepoGenius 2.0

From Chat to Insight Reports

The biggest change you'll notice is that we've moved away from the chat interface to focus entirely on insight reports. Why? Because when you're dealing with massive cases – we're talking 28 depositions and 80 exhibits – it can take a few minutes to generate a comprehensive analysis. But here's the thing: getting that level of analysis in 2-3 minutes instead of days or weeks? That's a game-changer for any plaintiff's attorney.

Simplified Collaboration

We've also completely reworked how collaboration works. Instead of managing access at the deposition level (which, frankly, nobody wanted), you can now simply invite collaborators to entire cases. It's straightforward: one invite, full access to the case. No more complexity, just smooth teamwork.

Streamlined Navigation

The new interface keeps your case list readily accessible on the left side of your screen. This might seem like a small change, but it makes a world of difference when you're juggling multiple cases. You can quickly jump between cases, access insights, review depositions, and check out the new case overview dashboard.

Better Exports

Need to take your work outside DepoGenius? We've made it super simple to export your insight reports to PDF or Microsoft Word-compatible formats. Whether you're drafting an opening statement or preparing a motion for summary judgment, you can seamlessly move your DepoGenius insights into your preferred tools.

What Hasn't Changed

While we've simplified a lot, we haven't compromised on power. You can still direct Genius to examine specific depositions through manual prompts or our new prompt builder. The core capability – analyzing vast amounts of case data to generate actionable insights – is stronger than ever.
